Evelyn Mora is a Finnish 28-year old awarded strategist, tech and sustainability consultant based in Paris, France.

Evelyn Mora is the Founder of Internet Company DIGITAL VILLAGE, a Social Metaverse with its own community lead Blockchain technology built prioritizing social and digital sustainability, Digital land, and Digital assets marketplace. Evelyn created the first transparent global Digital Sustainability study, calculations and recommendations for more secure cyberspace in addition to the latest, concept of Blockchain technology designed by the Digital Village.

Evelyn Mora created Helsinki Fashion Week:tm in 2014, she relaunched the event under sustainability principles and became the world’s first recognised and most sustainable fashion week. Under the leadership of Evelyn, Helsinki Fashion Week evolved into a multimillion-euro brand and was recognized and nominated in the British Fashion Awards and awarded as the event of the year by Peta in 2018 and the Epica Awards in the fashion category in 2020.

With her background in visual arts and fashion photography, she has been dedicated to creating a future focused on interdisciplinary sustainable innovation, technology, and design ever since graduating as a product developer and service designer.

Evelyn Mora designed and piloted the Eco Village – concept in 2018. The proof of concept was recognized by The Independent UK in 2018 as “The most progressive event,” Forbes USA in 2019 as “By far the most provocative and promising platform,” and American VOGUE in 2018 as “A platform unlike any other.”

Evelyn is connected with major government initiatives such as the ‘Wood construction program’ within the Ministry of Environment of Finland, including the ‘Sustainable city development initiative ‘ in Finland.

Her clients include Ministry of Environment of Finland, Kering Group, Tesla, Condé Nast International, VTT Technical Research Institute, European Space Agency, Flanders DC, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Finland, Norden – Council of Nordic Ministers.

As an internationally distinguished advocate and spokeswoman for sustainability, Evelyn has been featured on Bloomberg, Business Insider, BBC World Business TV, Forbes editions in the USA, Finland, China and Russia. She is extensively analyzing and evaluating the transformation of the public and private sectors in terms of technological transition and sustainable development, with a particular emphasis on Gen Alpha, Gen Z and Millennial generation studies.

 

She also offers essays to International top Schools and Universities including the University of Technology in St. Petersburg, where her new dissertation was added to the E-library of the University and included in the most important Russian citation index in the early spring of 2020.

As keynote speaker and lecturer, Evelyn Mora has been invited to talk and moderate at main events including Koli Forum, Bio-Economy and sustainability-related events organized and curated by the Ministry of Forestry and Agriculture of Finland, the Ministry of Economy and Employment of Finland, Fashion for Good, FashionSustain Summit Berling, Sustainable Fashion Summit South Korea and WGSN among others.
